Farewell 2017

I cannot believe another year has flown by. 2017 has been the quickest year of my life and I have jam packed as much as I can into the last 12 months which has made the year a one to remember. Similar to my month-by-month, I’ve decided to do a round up of the year including my favourite highlights.

JANUARY, FEBRUARY & MARCH

To start of the New Year I managed to bag myself some work experience at a PR company in London, this was my first time working in the city and I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go back. I got to stay with George for a week whilst I was working and it was great spending some time in Reading with him. February rolled around and it was our second Valentines day together. The end of March was the start of my first holiday of the year, we visited Florida for 2 weeks and we loved every second.

APRIL, MAY & JUNE

Our holiday fell into April and we were still in America but had moved locations to Miami! As this was the beginning of summer, it fell into what I like to call ‘the concert months’. We all went to see Green Day at Hyde Park which was amazing as Dad and I had always wanted to see them live. A special treat for Mum was that Olly Murs was playing locally so it meant we had to go. Whilst the weather was lovely George and I also payed a trip to Brighton for the day – you cannot go wrong with a seaside town.

JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER

Shortly after we went back to Brighton but this time to celebrate Charlotte turning 19. Such an oldie. The end of August meant it was time for my second holiday of the year . George and I went to Majorca for our first holiday together. We had the best week relaxing (and drinking) in the sun. Again, my third holiday of the year (oops..) rolled around and my family and I jetted off to Cyprus for a week. I’m not normally one for laying on a sun bed all day but Cyprus was so relaxing I didn’t want to spend my day anywhere else!

OCTOBER

Lauren, my Dad and I went pumpkin picking this Halloween and we carved (Lauren sat and watched whilst I carved) a Cheshire Cat which was a big pumpkin achievement – I didn’t do art GCSE for nothing! Of course we did not miss Harry Styles at the Apollo and attended in full fangirl mode singing our hearts out to his new album. Charlotte and I reunited with Tish and Ellie who we had not seen in forever and had the best evening together. I love having friends who are the double of us. Attending my first blogging event was a big deal for me. I certainly felt like I was going on up in the blogging world and I loved it. Oh and did I mention we LOVED hanging with Pixie Lott.

NOVEMBER & DECEMBER

My favourite two months of the year saw me turn 20 which I cannot believe. When did I suddenly turn into an adult?? The annual work Christmas party was at the start of December and I loved spending all evening with some of my best friends. They truly do put the fun into fun! December also means Christmas which was lovely to spend time with friends and family during the festive period.

I hope everybody has had a wonderful 2017 and has an even better 2018.

Happy New Year! x
