A Little Life Update

Hi, hello, yes I’m back!

Blogging has taken a bit of a back seat for me over the past few months as I decided to make the most of the time off uni before returning for my final year.

I thought it was about time to make my come back as I’m sitting on my sun bed catching some rays in Cyrpus.

The best way to do this is to talk through each month and what I have been getting up too whilst having some time away.

MAY

I finished uni at the end of April and straight away went into some work experience at a modelling agency to learn the ins and outs of talent management. I absolutely loved being there and learning new things about the industry that I was unaware of. I met some great people and certianly will be returning back to London to grab a job in this field of work once graduating.

My sister and I went to see one of our favourite musicals, Hairspray, on stage which was bloody brilliant. I can’t say that the Link Larkin we saw was as good as Zac Efron because let’s face it…he’s the one and only…

JUNE

I had my first ever hen night which was a whole lot of fun. I had never been to a hen before and I can safely say it was well spent with a lovely group of ladies.

As well as my first hen night, I also had my first baby shower! Much to our excitement, Shar announced she was having a baby girl which we were so overjoyed about. We had girl chats, lots of baby presents and a whole load of afternoon tea in celebration. Baby Arielle is one of the most adorable babies I have ever seen, congratulations Shar and family!

The time finally came to see the man, the myth, the legend that is Dave Grohl. And what a man he is. We drank and danced all day long and had the time of our lives. Highly recommend seeing the Foo’s to anyone.

JULY

July was a fairly busy moth.

Our longtime family friends, Paul and Suzanne finally tied the knot! We were so happy to be able to spend their special day with them and join in the celebrations. Many congratulations to them both!

George and I took our long awaited trip to London where we took it upon us to do some of our Christmas presents we bought each other. We went for dinner at the Steakhouse in Chelsea which was delicious and walked over one of my favourite venues, the O2 Arena.

My next concert of the summer was one that I had always had on my bucket list. Michael Bublé to me is what I want in a husband, he’s just wonderful. It turned out to be a very wet evening but the rain did not stop everyone from having a great time.

We took a visit to Chartwell, Winston Churchill’s house which is one of the most beautiful places in the country. The garden’s were kept immaculate and flowers, fruit and veg were growing everywhere. I wish I could move in myself! When I was younger I loved visiting castles and historical sites to learn all about the history. I hadn’t done anything like this since I was younger so it was lovely to get back into it.

My family are Speedway fans so I decided to go along with George’s family this year to the Grand Prix in Cardiff to see what all the hype was about in the flesh. It is safe to say I am now obsessed. I loved watching the action in the stadium and cannot wait till next year to do it all over again!

AUGUST

I finally got to travel this month and visited one of my favourite destinations, Cyprus. I am fortune enough to still go on holiday with my family and return to such a lovely place. Everything about this place makes me feel so relaxed and I have never been anywhere else that is so calm and peaceful.

WHAT IS NEXT…

So I have a few more bits and bobs popping up in the rest of August but next is September, which means final year of university. It’s actually come around. I feel like I have been waiting to get this done and dusted for a long time and cannot wait to get into a job that I love. Here’s to the relaxing summer I have had off and back to doing the proper stuff!
